With the adoption of VingCard Essence door locks, the hotel can now promote guest safety and comfort throughout the premises as guests enter the building or access their rooms. A solution that leverages a minimalistic design to seamlessly blend in with the Sofitel Sydney Darling Harbour’s sleek décor, VingCard Essence houses all its components inside the door and only displays a stylish RFID reader to guests. While VingCard Essence’s maximum distance reading capabilities ensure seamless guestroom access, the solution is also equipped with the industry's most advanced security protocols.

Able to integrate with the property's Liverton self check-in kiosks, the adoption of ASSA ABLOY Global Solutions technology further provides property guests with the ability to swiftly and securely receive their room key without having to visit the front desk. Guests can also use the kiosks check-out and pay their bill, ensuring enhanced social distancing measures and reducing the risk of potential germ exposure.
